Acceptance of Terms
These Terms govern your use of torosautocenterinc.net and the services provided by Toro's Auto Center, Inc. ("Toro's Auto Center," "we," "us"), including our SMS / text message program. By submitting an estimate request, scheduling an appointment, or opting in to text messages from us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Services
Toro's Auto Center is a family-owned auto body and collision repair shop located at 443 Lynnway, Lynn, MA 01905. We provide collision repair, custom paint and refinishing, dent removal, frame and structural repair, and insurance claim coordination. Estimates are free and non-binding until a written work order is signed.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit a request, schedule a service, or opt in to receive SMS messages from us. By using our services, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal authority to authorize repairs on the vehicle described.
SMS Terms & Conditions
By opting in to receive text messages from Toro's Auto Center, you agree to receive transactional text messages related to your vehicle, appointment confirmations, repair status updates, estimate-ready notifications, and vehicle-ready-for-pickup alerts.
Message frequency may vary depending on your repair or appointment status. Message and data rates may apply.
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. After replying STOP, you will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

Toro's Auto Center Service Notifications
This is a recurring transactional SMS program operated by Toro's Auto Center, Inc. for customers who request an estimate, schedule service, or otherwise opt in to receive text messages from us.

- Opt-In Methods
- You may opt in by submitting our online estimate form at torosautocenterinc.net, completing a paper intake form at our shop, or by replying START to a message from us.

- We support all major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Not Required
- Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. You may decline SMS and still receive estimates, schedule service, and complete repairs through phone, email, or in-person communication.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our website or messaging services to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Submit a phone number that is not your own or for which you do not have authorization to opt in.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems.
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Estimates and Authorization
All estimates are free and non-binding until you sign a written work order or repair authorization. Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days unless otherwise noted in writing. Final cost may differ from the original estimate due to:
- Hidden damage discovered during disassembly that was not visible during the initial inspection.
- Parts pricing changes between the date of the estimate and the date of the order.
- Supplemental insurance authorizations or adjuster requirements.
- Customer-requested changes or additional work.
We will notify you before performing any work outside the scope of the originally authorized repair and obtain your written or recorded verbal approval before proceeding.
Repair Timelines and Parts Delays
Repair timelines provided by Toro's Auto Center are good-faith estimates only and may change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including parts availability, shipping or supplier delays, manufacturer backorder, insurance approvals or supplements, hidden damage discovered during disassembly, weather events, or industry-wide disruptions. We will keep you informed of meaningful schedule changes and work to complete the repair as promptly as possible.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Toro's Auto Center may, at our sole discretion, decline to install parts supplied by the customer. If we agree to install customer-supplied parts:
- The parts are not covered by our parts warranty, and the customer is solely responsible for the part's fitment, quality, condition, defects, and compatibility with the vehicle.
- Toro's Auto Center is not liable for delays, additional labor charges, paint mismatches, or downstream issues caused by customer-supplied parts.
- Additional labor required to make a customer-supplied part fit or function correctly will be billed at our standard labor rate.
Sublet and Subcontracted Services
The customer authorizes Toro's Auto Center to engage qualified subcontractors or sublet providers when reasonably necessary to complete the repair. This may include, without limitation, towing, mechanical repairs, wheel alignment, glass replacement, ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) calibration, paintless dent repair, detailing, electronics diagnostics, and other specialty work. Sublet work is performed under each subcontractor's own warranty terms; the Toro's Auto Center workmanship warranty applies only to work performed by Toro's Auto Center directly.
Vehicle Operation, Inspection, and Documentation
The customer authorizes Toro's Auto Center and its employees to operate, move, inspect, photograph, record, scan, and test drive the vehicle as reasonably necessary for the purpose of producing estimates, performing repairs, conducting diagnostics, completing quality control, supporting insurance claims, maintaining service records, and delivering or storing the vehicle.
Toro's Auto Center may capture photographs and recordings of the vehicle and any damage for documentation, insurance, repair, recordkeeping, and quality-control purposes. Use of vehicle photographs or recordings for marketing, social media, advertising, or promotional purposes requires the customer's separate written consent.
Payment Terms
Payment in full is due upon completion of repairs and prior to vehicle pickup, unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, certified checks, and approved insurance carrier payments. Personal checks are accepted at our discretion.
For insurance claims, the customer is responsible for any deductible, betterment, depreciation, or non-covered amounts not paid by the insurer. The customer remains ultimately responsible for full payment regardless of insurance coverage decisions or delays.
Returned checks are subject to a $35 fee plus any bank charges. Past-due balances accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by Massachusetts law.
Vehicle Drop-Off, Pickup, and Storage
Vehicles must be picked up within three (3) business days of completion notification. We will notify you by your preferred contact method (phone, text, or email) when your vehicle is ready.
If your vehicle is not picked up within three business days of the completion notification, daily storage fees of $175 per day will apply, beginning on the fourth business day. Storage fees must be paid in full before the vehicle is released.
If you cannot pick up your vehicle within the three-day window, please contact us as soon as possible to arrange an extension. Reasonable extensions are granted at our discretion at no charge for documented circumstances.
Abandoned Vehicles
A vehicle may be considered abandoned if it remains on our property for more than thirty (30) days after completion notification, or if the customer fails to respond to repeated contact attempts regarding pickup or unpaid balances.
Vehicles left unpaid or unclaimed may be subject to applicable Massachusetts lien, storage, notice, and disposition procedures. Toro's Auto Center will not sell, dispose of, or transfer any vehicle except as permitted by applicable law and after any required notices to the registered owner and any lienholders.
Following any required statutory process, an abandoned vehicle may be sold to satisfy the outstanding balance for repairs, storage fees, lien costs, and related expenses. Any surplus from such a sale will be returned to the registered owner; any deficiency remains the customer's responsibility.
Appointments and Cancellations
We reserve drop-off and bay time when you book an appointment. To respect other customers and our scheduling, we ask that:
- Cancellations or reschedules be made at least 24 hours in advance by phone, text, or email.
- No-shows (failure to drop off without prior notice) may forfeit any priority scheduling and may be subject to a $75 missed-appointment fee at our discretion.
- Rescheduling within the 24-hour window is generally honored once at no charge as a courtesy; repeat last-minute changes may delay your repair.
Personal Property
Please remove all personal items from your vehicle before drop-off. Toro's Auto Center is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal property left in the vehicle, including but not limited to electronics, jewelry, cash, documents, child seats, dash cams, and aftermarket accessories not directly involved in the repair. Items left in the vehicle are stored at the owner's risk.
Warranty
Toro's Auto Center provides a limited workmanship warranty as stated on the signed repair order or final invoice. If no separate warranty period is stated on the repair order or invoice, the workmanship warranty applies for as long as the original customer owns the vehicle, subject to the exclusions below. The terms stated on the signed repair order or invoice control in the event of any conflict with this Terms page.
Manufacturer warranties on parts apply per each manufacturer's terms and conditions. Aftermarket and used parts may carry shorter or no warranties; this will be disclosed before installation.
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by subsequent collisions, accidents, or impacts.
- Normal wear and tear, road debris, environmental damage (hail, flooding, sun fading), or improper care.
- Repairs performed by another shop after our work.
- Pre-existing damage not addressed in the original work order.
- Customer-supplied parts or repairs performed against our written recommendation.
Except as expressly stated in writing, our services are provided "as is" without other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Insurance Claims
When we work with your insurance carrier on your behalf, the customer authorizes Toro's Auto Center to communicate directly with the insurer, receive supplements, and accept payment. The customer remains the policyholder and final decision-maker on the claim. Disputes between the customer and the insurer regarding coverage are not the responsibility of Toro's Auto Center.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Toro's Auto Center, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or messaging services, including but not limited to lost data, lost profits, or carrier-caused delivery failures of SMS messages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, Massachusetts.
